Most people want to be more efficient. If you were to take a look at how you spend your time, you would probably find that you spend many days doing things that you do not like…

Unhappiness not only wastes your time, but it can also impact your profits. Efficiency allows you to spend more time doing things you really enjoy and, as a result, you will be happier. There are several ways I found for you to have more time and have the freedom you would like to have to do the things you enjoy.

Don’t multitask

People, especially women, believe that they are good at multitasking. According to research, you can only focus on one or two tasks at a time. Especially when it comes to complicated tasks, this is true.

Create a schedule based on a time audit

Make a list of what you do during the day to learn more about yourself. Often, we “think” we do something, but the reality is different.  Track everything you do for a week or two using an agenda.

To-do lists should include a “done list.”

Tasks can suddenly appear when we are not expecting them. Leave some space next to your to-do list for tasks we aren’t expecting, but will still need to accomplish eventually. You will be able to see what you have actually accomplished.

The key principle of time management is to prioritize and finish your crucial tasks daily. By accomplishing what matters the most first, you’ll experience a sense of fulfillment and positivity toward your work.

Sleep at least 7-8 hours

When we have a lot on our plate, we rest when we need to. In order to be more productive, some people sacrifice sleep… Nothing is far from the truth. If you want to be efficient, your body needs proper rest.

Work steadily at your best pace by finding what works for you. It reduces the quality of work and creates stress when we rush through tasks.
