YouTube Channel: Talk about the things you like and monetize

Each of us is unique. There are some of us who like to write, and others who like to talk, and if you are one of the latter types, then YouTube is the place for you. YouTube has information about almost everything. Finding videos that demonstrate how to make or do something is especially helpful.

Consider what you enjoy talking about. In what areas of interest are you interested? Is cooking something you enjoy? Do you travel? sports? relationships? You can blog about anything you can think of. My recommendation for you is to write about something you enjoy and know well.

Online class: Start yours

Everyone has expertise in something. Creating an online course is not difficult and it can generate income for months or even years. Here’s how to do it:

1. Topic. Choose a topic you want to teach people.
2. Choose a platform for delivering your online course. Teachable, Udemy, Kajabi, or create your own website.
3. Outline your proposal.
4. For each section of your class, create a module with three to four lessons.
5. Create worksheets for each module so people can take notes.
6. Upload videos to the platforms
7. Engage your audience
8. Decide on a price

You can also make money online in other ways. The following companies have a good reputation and can be very lucrative if you like to participate in surveys. Most of them are aimed at US consumers:  

• American Consumer Opinion. The American Consumer Opinion has a good reputation and is a good company. Participants receive a screening survey every month and a full survey every quarter. In general, screen surveys pay $0.50 and full surveys sometimes pay up to $50.
• Opinion Post. Opinion Post offers more opportunities than American Consumer Opinion. The payment is, however, typically lower than the ACO.
• Survey Junkie. A popular company with a good reputation is Survey Junkie. In general, you earn points when you fill out surveys, and you will receive $10 for every 1000 points you earn. You can make a lot of money here.

Consider doing some research and finding out which option is most convenient for you. Maybe doing a combination of all would be a good idea as well. If you want to sell products online, you have different options. A manufacturer can print your logo onto the products, and you can sell them using any of these platforms if you like cosmetics, for example:

• Amazon. In the current environment, Amazon is a great place to sell products. Almost everyone buys products on Amazon and has them delivered to their homes.
• Craigslist. Craigslist isn’t one of the favorite options, but its appeal is its lack of fees. Craigslist allows you to sell almost anything.
• EBay. Selling products on eBay is definitely a great idea. In addition to selling new products, you can also sell unwanted items quickly.
• Facebook Marketplace. You can sell almost anything on Facebook marketplace, just like you can on eBay.

A virtual assistant is a great help, especially for time-consuming tasks that don’t pay, but take up your time.
